Dantan Wernecke is a college history professor who was born and raised in Ohio. His ambition led him to Washington DC where he lived and worked four years before following his feet back home to Richland County. Seeing a need for inspired design in his hometown, Dantan founded Statesman Craft & Design in 2020. His inspirations include historical architecture, art (both modern and classical), and nature. Dantan's personal home is filled with greenery and his #1 tip for brightening any space is to add a plant!
